Mentoring with Music · Lima, Perú
Every kid deserves a chance to be heard.
We hand instruments to Lima’s young people and mentors who stick around. Music opens the door. Belonging keeps them coming back.

Why it matters
More than lessons. It’s someone in their corner.
In Lima’s busiest neighborhoods, young people face pressure long before they’re ready for it. We pair them with mentors who show up every week — not just to teach a chord, but to listen, to believe, and to stay.
How it works
Three steps to a stronger start
01
Pick up an instrument
Free access to guitars, drums, and keys. No experience needed — just curiosity and the will to show up.
02
Meet your mentor
A trained volunteer who meets weekly — for the music and everything around it. Consistency is the whole point.
03
Find your sound
Perform, record, and grow with a crew that has your back. Confidence built on stage carries into everything else.
Get involved
Be the reason a kid keeps showing up.
Mentor an hour a week, donate an instrument, or fund a season. Whatever you bring, it lands right here in Lima.
